Level 7 is the final stage — the Ofqual-regulated qualification that recognises you as a fully qualified aesthetic practitioner. At Matrix, Level 7 is delivered in two forms depending on the pathway you've followed.
Level 7 The Final Qualification is an Ofqual-regulated stage in the Matrix Aesthetics Academy pathway. Level 7 is the final stage — the Ofqual-regulated qualification that recognises you as a fully qualified aesthetic practitioner. At Matrix, Level 7 is delivered in two forms depending on the pathway you've followed.
Please note: Completion times are provided as a guide only. Qualifications may take longer depending on the learner's availability, practical progress and assessment completion. Where a learner is converting existing qualifications or can provide suitable evidence of previous learning and experience, the timeframe may be shortened through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). One of our course advisors can review your circumstances and explain your expected completion timeframe.
If you're on the Qualification Route, Level 7 is where injectable training happens — foundation and advanced dermal filler and anti-wrinkle, followed by final practical assessment. If you've already completed injectable training earlier (Accelerator) or in prior practice (Conversion), Level 7 is a competency assessment — portfolio review and final practical assessment only.

In person + assignments
Full injectable training delivered at Level 7. Foundation and advanced dermal filler and anti-wrinkle, with assignments and a final practical assessment.
Assessment only
For practitioners already trained in injectables — either through the Accelerator route or existing clinical experience. Portfolio, evidence review and final practical assessment only.
No injectable training included — you must already be competent in injectables.
Six mandatory units — all delivered as part of the Matrix Level 7 stage. No optional units at this level; every candidate completes the same regulated set.
Candidates must complete all units in this group.
