Please note: Completion times are provided as a guide only. Qualifications may take longer depending on the learner's availability, practical progress and assessment completion. Where a learner is converting existing qualifications or can provide suitable evidence of previous learning and experience, the timeframe may be shortened through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). One of our course advisors can review your circumstances and explain your expected completion timeframe.
Level 6 covers advanced anatomy, clinical decision-making, advanced infection control, professional practice and skin boosters (polynucleotides). It's a prerequisite for Level 7 and it's the stage where you move from technician-mindset to practitioner-mindset.
Practitioners who have completed Level 4 (or equivalent competence) and are preparing for the final Level 7 qualification.
A recognised Level 6 qualification and the clinical maturity required to enter Level 7 assessment.

The full Qualification Route Level 6, delivered in-person with Matrix's advanced anatomy and clinical decision-making modules, supported by assignments.
In person + assignments
The Level 6 stage used within the Accelerator and Conversion pathways. Same regulated content, delivered in person with assignments to build your evidence base.
Three mandatory units plus at least three optional units. Matrix delivers three optional units covering microneedling, chemical peels and skin booster injections — enough to complete the full Level 6 award.
Candidates must complete all units in this group.
